As part of the formulation process, an Intellectual Property Subcommittee [5] was formed to develop a draft for consideration by the Intellectual Property Committee. The full Intellectual Property committee met on January 9, 2008 [6] and voted unanimously to accept the document and present it to the faculty senate for approval. The Faculty Senate also reviewed the Intellectual property Draft at its monthly meeting in January, 2008 [7] . Before senate approval, the proposed policy would be presented to the cabinet for discussion. The proposed Intellectual Property policy was placed on the agenda for approval vote at the Faculty Senate's February, 2008, [8] meeting, with copies of the policy distributed to all senators.
