The institution's continuing education, outreach, and service programs are consistent with the institution's mission. (Continuing education/service programs)

Off-Site Committee Finding

The Committee's review of Albany State University 's Outreach Programs documents a clear structure for the provision of continuing education (CEU) and outreach programs. Mechanisms also are in place to support student and faculty community involvement through course syllabi requirements, cooperative educational experiences, institutional programs/centers, and faculty annual evaluation and promotion/tenure policies. Although specific information regarding program offerings, participants, and program evaluation were provided for the NASA-SEMAA and HCOP programs, no specific information about general CEU offerings was provided. Samples of general CEU program offering and participants would be helpful for the On-Site Committee in determining compliance.
