Off-Site Committee Finding

No job descriptions were provided for any of the positions listed on the organizational chart. The narrative provides information to support that the Vice President of Enrollment Management and Student Affairs and unit directors would be qualified to hold their positions when general standards are applied. The health services unit was the only unit for which information was provided for all staff holding the positions listed on the organizational chart. It was noted that the Director of Recruitment and Admissions had been reassigned but no information was given related to filling the void in management and program delivery as a result of that vacancy. The On-Site Committee should review job descriptions and qualifications of personnel holding positions listed on the organizational chart.

Albany State University fully complies with Comprehensive Standard 3.9.3 regarding the employment of qualified personnel to ensure the quality and effectiveness of its student affairs programs. The [1] attached table displays the name, affiliated department, highest educational level, and position title for staff within the Division of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management. A link to each position description is provided in the table to show that these personnel have the requisite education and or training to satisfactorily perform their duties.
